Our Speciality.
Retired Athletes
Transitioning out of athletics is often riddled with feelings of grief, loss of identity, and isolation. We help guide retiring athletes through this transition to ensure they feel prepared and excited for what comes next.
Adaptive Athletes
While the core tenets of high performance remain the same, we bring a deep understanding of the performance environments adaptive athletes compete within. Our work focuses on helping athletes build the mental skills and self-trust needed to perform in alignment with their potential.
Injured Athletes
Many athletes describe returning from injury more mentally challenging than playing in their sport. We utilize the power of mental skills to help athletes complete rehabilitation and return to sport feeling prepared and confident.
Hi! I’m Taylor.
When I tell people about my career as a mental performance coach, they often respond with, “Oh, did you need one of those when you were an athlete?” To which I happily respond, “Doesn’t everyone?” I started AMP with the mission of making mental performance coaching accessible and available to anyone pursuing a goal they deem worthwhile.
My primary purpose in this work is to help athletes leverage their mental skills so they can enjoy the process of chasing a goal while developing a strong sense of self—both in and out of sport. I take a collaborative, nonjudgmental, and often humorous approach that is grounded in science and tailored to each individual. I am a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology and have had the privilege of working with Paralympic, NCAA Division I, II, and III, youth, and recreational athletes.
I firmly believe that a person’s potential is most accessible when they feel supported, understood, and anchored in their personal values. If you’re curious about working together and think mental performance coaching might be your next step toward reaching your goals, I’d love to connect.
